We have red squirrels in the surrounding woodland, and they occasionally pay us a visit in the garden. They can be a bit shy so when you see one they’re amazing and very entertaining to watch.
Good luck with your squirrel spotting … but please … keep dogs on a lead. We don’t want the squirrels blacklisting us.
EV Charger
With a 7.5kWh GoZero Optimus EV Charger located in your dedicated off-street parking space, you’ll be able to charge your EV overnight during your stay with us. Convenient, right!?
This is a tether-less charger, so please ensure you bring your charger cable with you.
Charges apply.
Dogs Welcome
We’re located in a prime spot for long woodland walks, which is ideal if you have a dog.
Our resident Cocker Spaniel, Honey, will be super keen to introduce herself. However, we know not everyone is a dog person, so if you’d prefer Honey keeps her distance just let us know.
ps. You don’t need to have a dog to take advantage of the woodland walks … just go explore 💪
Motorcyclists Welcome
Your host at Drumfin Cottage is an experienced motorcyclist, so it stands to reason that we make our cottage biker friendly too.
But what does that mean in practical terms?
Well, we have a garage next to the cottage, which can be used to store your bike while you visit. We’ve also got equipment on-site to dry your gear – boots, gloves, helmet and jackets. The garage is covered by the latest CCTV camera technology.
Over time, we plan to kit out the garage to provide a dedicated space for hanging and drying your gear.
But you don’t need to be a motorcyclist to take advantage of our drying equipment, everyone is welcome to use it.
We’ll also be offering guided motorcycle day tours, using Drumfin Cottage as your base and starting point.
